Hilary was the first Chef in the local area to take my gluten allergy seriously. She was very open and accommodating to my dietary needs and created marvelous gluten free items that I have returned for week after week. Most gluten-free foods are mediocre, at best. Hilary not only brought it up a notch – she took in into the stratosphere and made eating fun again. I never remember that I have a gluten allergy when eating her food. – Raven
Just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know what a delicious dinner I made last night using the recipes from your cooking demo! I made pork chops with the roasted veggies, acorn squash and applesauce. Everything came out just right, especially the applesauce! — Tara
The vegetarian haggis was wonderful: a combination of flavors and textures that was delicious AND imaginative! I hope you make it often, and should have bought a few more servings last Saturday. I hope you’re well in this season of bad colds, and look forward to seeing you at the Market. –Yours, Joan
THANK YOU!! in the biggest possible way!! Your celeriac and caramelized onion soup is my new favorite, Seriously. I’d travel for a bowl of that perfection!!! The beet salad was absolutely one of the best things I’ve EVER eaten. Could I have the recipe? Would you be willing to share that culinary masterpiece with me? The peanut butter cookies just made me happy all day long (and took me back to my childhood!) I LOVED their crunch, and I even had a glass of milk with one of them, which I almost never drink anymore, but it was necessary!) I loved the cake, too, it was beyond FABULOUS, and the bean stew held us for several meals and that was just so handy and delicious, I can’t tell you!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, HILARY. You made me to be a VERY happy (and well-fed!) woman for several hundred mouthfuls!!! I’d let you cook for me again, whenever and as often as you like!!! REALLY, I’ll let you!!! — Barbara
